Our students are working very hard on a TED TALK presentation for this project. Mrs. Roscher submitted this lesson plan to the Samsung Solve For Tomorrow Contest and qualified as one of the five state semi-finalists for PA! She won cool prizes for our class! The presentation is expected to be delivered this fall.
Drugs and Alcohol abuse is a serious issue in all schools across the country. Our goal is to bring awareness of drugs and alcohol to the students of Freedom High School. We will be explaining the effects of drugs and alcohol on the brain. We 3D printed a human brain and will attach LED Lights to show the areas of brain activity under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
